Capturing over 200 years of Trinity stories in celebration of their bicentennial.
Trinity College Bicentennial
Vivid storytelling from the institution and community highlighted key moments, influential figures, and impactful contributions. This in turn fostered a sense of pride and connection among alumni, current students, and the wider community.
Project at a Glance
- Immersive timelines for key eras in the College’s history
- Flexible story system allowed a mix of content to be presented together, including text, photos, video and audio
- Microsite that captured the spirit of their existing online presence in a new way
Engagement and Interactivity
The Bicentennial website encouraged active engagement and participation from its visitors. Through features such as interactive timelines, archival photographs, and multimedia galleries, users were invited to delve into Trinity College's past and explore its enduring impact. It also encouraged users to share their own experiences and memories, further enriching the sense of community and participation.
Simple, Direct Navigation
We knew that the site had two priorities - sharing stories about Trinity and placing those stories within a historical context. The solution was to build two feature areas, one for the story hub and one for the historical timeline, and tie them both together with a uniform story model.
