Paving the path to student success. The Merced way.

Merced College provides its students with multiple on-campus services, including support programs that supply basic needs for food, housing, medical resources, childcare, and personal support. We designed the site to be action-oriented and focused on onboarding students to the Merced experience so that their community could easily find support where and when they needed it.

With a potential for campus expansion, we built a sustainable and flexible design system easily managed by the Merced team. Global navigation elements enabled the same content to show on multiple pages, while being edited in one place. Flexible page types gave ease to adding different locations, and while the global navigation can be used for those pages, new campus locations had the ability to customize navigation to their local geography.
